Exploring: Vickery Creek Falls in Roswell, GA
Last summer I visited this amazing waterfall and hiking trail right here in Georgia! This is a park area in the woods with hiking trails, a historic mill, a covered bridge and a man-made waterfall below the trails. Once I parked, I walked over the bridge and there was a hiking trail with a very steep incline. I had to basically climb up on all fours to get to a small dirt path on what looked like the side of a mountain (no exaggeration). Before getting to the waterfall there was a small hill with rocks that needed to be climbed down. I opted to scoot down (pictured below) because I'm a little too clumsy to walk down without the possibility of going head first.
Once I was down the hill I was so stunned at what I saw at the waterfall area. There was a bank to walk on but mostly when down there you had to walk in the water. I wore shoes that were easy to clean because it was muddy and the rocks were jagged. The water was so warm and clear and the waterfall was such gave off such a nice summer aesthetic!
